MKC Communications is proud to announce that Brian Harrison, Managing Director, and David Kinch, Director, have been formally conferred as Fellows of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII).
The Fellow designation recognises exceptional leadership, professional excellence and a sustained contribution to the advancement of the communications profession in Ireland and is one of the highest professional honours in Irish public relations. The conferral took place following the PRII Annual General Meeting on 12 February at the Irish Architectural Archives, where members also gathered to mark a new phase of strategic development for the Institute.
With decades of experience advising organisations across healthcare, technology and the public sector, Brian Harrison has long been a trusted strategic counsellor to senior leadership teams. His career includes leading high-profile communications initiatives at the American Chamber of Commerce in Ireland, helping to position Ireland as a leading global FDI destination.
Today, as Managing Director of MKC Communications, Brian continues to champion ethical, insight-led communications that deliver meaningful impact for clients. Since 2023, he has also served as a Director of PRCA Ireland and currently holds the role of Chair, contributing to the broader development of the industry nationwide.
David Kinch brings nearly 20 years of professional experience spanning global and Irish agencies and a diverse range of public and private sector clients. As a Director and part-owner of MKC Communications, David plays a central role in shaping the firm’s strategic direction and client advisory offering.
Elected to the PRII National Council in 2022 and serving as Company Secretary since 2024, David has been instrumental in driving key Institute initiatives, including the development of its new five-year Strategic Plan and the PRII Communication Impact Awards. His Fellowship reflects both his professional expertise and his commitment to strengthening the future of the profession.
The conferral of Fellowships on both Brian and David represents a significant milestone for MKC Communications. It reflects not only individual achievement, but also the company’s deep commitment to professional standards, industry leadership, and the ongoing evolution of public relations in Ireland.
