PhoneWatch launches into SME Market

PhoneWatch, Ireland’s leading provider of Home Security Systems has announced that it is to expand its operations in Ireland and will now provide its leading Smart Security System to the SME sector targeting smaller businesses and sole traders. 16 new jobs will be created with the appointment of a team of Business Development Managers across Ireland bringing total employment in PhoneWatch to over 300 people.

 
Speaking about the expansion into the SME sector, Eoin Dunne, Managing Director PhoneWatch said, “According to ISME, 36% of companies have been victims of crime in the past year and business crime is costing Irish businesses some €1.62 billion annually. Crime is a significant issue for sole traders and small business owners throughout the country who are often the target of opportunistic thieves seeking to rob petty cash.
