Garrett Harte, Station Editor, Newstalk, commented, “We are delighted that he joined the team here at Newstalk. His arrival marks a significant milestone for Newstalk and reflects our long-term commitment to the development of independent radio, in Ireland. Pat is one of Ireland’s most respected broadcasters with an outstanding pedigree in quality journalism.”
Gary Ryan, Retail Director, Energia commented, “We delighted to support Pat’s switch to Newstalk. Sponsoring the Pat Kenny Show is the perfect fit for Energia as we continue to grow our business customer base and prepare to enter the residential energy market later this year.”
“This sponsorship is in addition to a significant B2B advertising campaign running between now and year end, including a series of TV and radio ads as well as online and outdoor advertising. With over 65,000 business customers and a 28% market share of the business electricity and gas market on an all–island basis, Energia is one of Ireland’s leading energy providers. We are making this investment to build on the already high levels of brand awareness of Energia in the business energy market.”
